Commissioned by Southend City Council for the continued celebration of Southend's City Status, this film explores the multiple museums and galleries we have on our doorstep in Britain’s newest city. Examining the collections and peeking behind the scenes with the conservators and curators, the film is a whistle stop tour through two thousand years of heritage, that goes much deeper than the familiar seafront.
