This animation is one of four for the UNICEF International Safeguarding in Sport campaign. These multi-sport resources are part of training materials devised by UNICEF, to help keep athletes at all levels safe from harm. Featuring a diverse range of sport settings from grassroots to elite level, the content unpacks safeguarding and uses the stories to encourage debate, as users work through a dedicated website of materials.
The four films use graphics, voiceover, and sound design to drive the narrative and emphasise the emotion and behaviours of the characters. Intended for a global audience, the web graphics, which we also created, and films were translated and re-versioned into French and Spanish, so they can reach the widest possible audience in UNICEF’s efforts to keep sport safe for all.
